King's Cake
Rosca de Reyes celebration includes a fun tradition: Every first weekend of january family and friends potluck and reunite to eat rosca, hidden inside the King's cake are small baby figurines representing the child Jesus. As each person cuts their slice, everyone waits to see who will find one. Finding a figurine is considered both an honor and a responsibility, as that person traditionally hosts and organize the next family gathering or potluck.
